MTB South.

This circular route starts and finishes in the town of Rute. We will begin by descending along the Hoz path, then enter the municipal area of Iznájar, where we will head towards the village of Lorite. Before reaching it, we will turn towards the village of La Celada. Extreme caution is required in the brief passage along the A-331, which connects Rute with Iznájar. We will take the Fuente path, which presents a steep slope, to descend towards La Celada. Once in the village, we will cross its urban center and head towards Iznájar. Again, we will take the road, specifically the A-333, where we will cross a bridge that will take us into the town. We will take various public paths that will eventually lead us to the Arroyo Priego until we reach the village of El Higueral, nestled on the slopes of the hills of Monte and La Sierrezuela, bordering the neighboring municipalities of Priego de Córdoba and Algarinejo in Granada, which we will skirt. From here, we will head towards the village of Las Lagunillas, now in the municipal area of Priego de Córdoba. Once here, we will find ourselves at the foot of the imposing Sierra de la Horconera, where we will connect through a series of paths until we reach the CV-61, which will leave us at the foot of the Sierra de Rute once again.
